Places to stay in and around Llangollen

The Hand hotel-centrally located and the headquarters for the International Grayling Competition.
The Chain Bridge hotel- situated right next to the river some 2 miles out of the town.
Bryn Howel hotel- situated about 2 miles out of town.
Gales Hotel- situated in the town centre with adjoining wine bar.
Llangollen hostel- in the town centre for good budget priced accommodation.

Things to do:-

There is too much to list. You are a short drive away from the Snowdonia National Park, the historic roman city of Chester and an hour from Liverpool.
The National Trust properties of Erddig, Chirk Castle and Powys Castle are all close by.
In Llangollen itself visit Plas Newydd formerly home to the Ladies of Llangollen. The town is also situated within the World heritage site and is an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Thomas Telford’s Aqueduct is situated at Trevor some 4 miles away.
